Action Search Screen

 

Description

EPA Recruitment Web users may need to search for and view actions.  Actions with an ‘In Progress’ status can be searched for by the originator in order to retract or delete.  Others can search for actions within their assigned access to check on approval status or simply review the information on the action.  A search on a specific Recruitment ID or Position ID will yield all actions that have been initiated for that ID.

 

Screen Shots and Field Descriptions

Select Searches from the menu bar and then select Action Search.  The following screen will display:

 

To search for all actions within your access, leave all fields at the default values and click on the Search button.  To search for a specific Recruitment ID or Position ID, enter the number and click on Search.  The other fields have dropdowns.  Select the value and click the Search button.  The fields may be used in combination.  Just remember the more values entered, the narrower the search.  Enter the desired criteria for the search and click the Search button.  The system will generate an Action Search Results list with the following fields.

 

 

The following fields are in the body of the Action Search Results screen:

Field Name

Description

Serial #

System generated number for the action.

Rec ID

Recruitment ID of the action.

Submit Date

Date action submitted for approvals.

# Req

Number of positions that may be hired via this recruitment.

Pos ID

Displayed only for EPA Non-Faculty positions.  This field will be blank for Faculty positions.

Position Title

The Recruitment ID and the Working Title of the position are provided in this field.

Requesting Dept #

The department that requested the action.

Action

The type of action – Create Recruitment Requisitions, Modify Requisition, Final Selection Document, etc.

Originator

Originator of action.
