A selection or interview committee is a group of individuals assigned to participate in the hiring process for an open requisition. Typically, members of the committee are responsible for the following:
While all of the members of the committee may review applications, thoughts
are typically combined for administrative purposes prior to completing the
Selection Document. This same basic
process will be followed when using SPA RecruitmentWeb.
While the Department Coordinator and Hiring Manager for each position will always be able to view referred applications and submit the selection document, other individuals in the department may be granted access as well. The Maintain Interview Committee Access screen allows the designated Department Coordinator to grant access to individuals serving as part of the search or interview committees for a given requisition. It is important to note that members of the committee will be limited in their use of SPA RecruitmentWeb. Specifically, these individuals will only be able to perform the following functions:

To access the Maintain Interview Committee Access screen the Department Coordinator
should hover the mouse over
from the menu bar and click
from the drop-down menu.

Key Contact and Date Information
Managing Interview Selection Committee Members Section
This section displays those individuals who are currently granted access
to the requisition listed. Additionally, the Department Coordinator may add
and/or delete individuals’ access from this section.
To grant access, the Department Coordinator should type the appropriate
Onyen into the first available blank space located on the left of the screen
in the Onyen of Interview Committee Member section of the page (see above).
If desired, users may grant the individual access to update the Department
Selection Document as well by clicking on the check box beside the individual’s
name in the “Allow to Update Selection Doc” column.
To add additional members follow the same procedures until you have granted
access to all individuals as needed. The
system automatically allows 15 entries. If more than 15 individuals need access
to a particular requisition, users can click on the Add more lines button
to add additional members.
Once all changes have been made, click Save
.
To delete individuals who were previously granted access, click on the box
in the “Delete” column corresponding with the individual’s
name. When all individual boxes have been checked
as needed, click
to remove access.
